Promoting Digital Well-Being in European Schools
This initiative empowers educators across Europe with strategies and resources to promote balanced technology use and build digital resilience among students. By combining research, practical tools, and collaborative learning, the project supports schools in fostering healthier digital habits and environments.
Through comprehensive research, we explore current digital practices, challenges, and successful interventions in European schools. Based on these insights, we are developing a practical framework to integrate digital well-being into everyday educational practices. This framework will be pilot tested in diverse school settings to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
By sharing outcomes, best practices, and policy recommendations widely, we aim to spark collaboration, strengthen stakeholder networks, and embed digital well-being as a core element of education across Europe.
DWELL for Educators and Parents
Educators will benefit from tailored training sessions and workshops, helping them confidently implement digital well-being strategies. DWELL aims to capacitate educators through a series of courses in 2 levels and certification. The project also promotes policy advocacy to encourage supportive institutional and regulatory frameworks.
DWELL offers a dedicated course for parents, designed to equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to support their children in the safe and responsible use of digital technology. This includes recognizing warning signs of potential issues such as cyberbullying, insomnia, and other digital-related challenges. The course takes a holistic approach, providing parents with essential skills in a short timeframe to enable them to implement parental controls, identify problems early, and take appropriate action.
